Milk Thistle is a powerful hepato-protectant and antioxidant. It simulates the liver and strengthens overall liver function. It aids in bile flow, decreases cholesterol buildup in the gallbladder and helps to dissolve calculi (stone) buildup. Milk thistle is an excellent liver tonic and is useful in the treatment of numerous liver conditions, including hepatitis and cirrhosis.
